In the song “I’ll be around,” Charles mentions his last concert with Young Nate was in Oswego.

Does anyone happen to know which Oswego this is in reference to? I grew up in one and have been trying to figure out if the town I grew up in has been immortalized by one of my favs.

The shows they have listed before The Pink Lavalamp were all in NYC

and the DemevolistTV YouTube Channel uploaded clips from shows in NY but there was a show from a University in Atlanta (so Charles did get around).

But Yung Nate wasn't apart of it and he's a NY native/local

although Oswego is on the other side of the state

I have to assume Charles was talking about Oswego NY, but who knows

That’s the Oswego I’m from. Like you said, it’s way away from NYC, so it’s always been a “oh, that’s neat, but probably not there” the 500 times I’ve listened to TPL. But then I thought about how if he was playing colleges or whatever, SUNY Oswego would probably be near the top of the list for places he’d have played at in cities called Oswego.

Gonna be a bit upset if I find out he played there when I was going to college and I didn’t see him before he was big.
