Nah fr! Glad to see others who love Elucid’s singing

Baking soda, Foucault and Joseph Conrad texts in the background
This guy’s a French professor who reviews a lot of good rap records. Has a really interesting academic perspective on a lot of it and gets pretty granular in his discussions.
Same guy who did a very impressive/extensive close reading and review of bob’s son, @Lit

Wowwww unpacks so many deep woods references. Also suggests the pigs as woods and Elucid themselves, connecting to the “You gotta kill the cop in ya head” line on Chicharrones

a lot of the bars are going right over my head, wish i could enjoy this without reading lyrics
wow without even deep diving into the lyrics yet, this is really GOOD good wow. Like on my fifth listen this already sounds like a future classic to me. Such a cohesive and consistent listen. I admit I didn't get the Stonefruit hype at first, but Elucid's singing is finally gelling with me (I actually liked God's Feet from my first listen tho).
The beat transitions from Falling Sky to Wishing Bad to Chicharonnes are insane, all thoughout the progressions are so satisfying. That's what rly made me realize this is special

Yeah I mean he doesn’t make any great revelations about the album per se, but he does pick out and explain a lot of woods’ literary references
