    Interesting new woods interview.

Confirms that the last track in the noonchorus show, the one with the backwards beat, is called Topsy and produced by Earl.

Talks a little bit about Odd Future. Brief Ka mention.

He has a daughter, never knew that.

And some interesting current political insights. Says something I especially agree with, that the idea of a Trump win breeding long-term revolution is a misunderstanding of the dynamics and cost of such a thing. Something I've debated with a lot of people.

New AH next year it looks like. No new solo planned as yet. Lot of collaborative work though.

Yeah damn crazy never knew that he had a daughter either. Guess he was serious when he said he told his kids western education is forbidden. I know on another interview he said that Ka's new record rivaled shrines too. Thanks for sending it 👍I think they might drop the new AH record this year they keep teasing it

I know that wasn’t intentional, because as you mentioned, “The Eucharist” wasn’t necessarily intended to close out the record.

woods: No, but things work out certain ways. For example the album begins with an appeal to god. “Lord help me I feel like the RZA” and it closes with “Did Jay really listen to D’Evils or did he just skim through it? I took the Shyne to ‘em and turned Jewish” I’m really proud of this record.

    Didn't catch that

"You could make a 1000 albums about the 5 years you spent as a serious cocaine dealer and they could still be all dope. If you do it artfully and it’s dope, I’ll still be interested."

woods talking about how things just naturally line up in the creative process: he incidentally started and ended the project with religious allusions

    HIDING PLACES (cover art)

This house, one of Albert Kahn's first commissions, was built in 1893 for the wealthy banker William Livingstone. In the 1990s, it was moved and replanted a few yards away on a vacant lot. Eventually, its facade collapsed in 2007 and the house was demolished a few months later.
