Aethiopes for me. A lot of his music is depressing to me tbh. Although I can appreciate his art it’s not what I want to listen to most of the time

Personally once I had that click (was aethiopes for me) I went back and all his old music made sense to me. I’ve been checking out his new albums since I was an early teen but going back once it clicked later in life, it was like finally being able to understand a language or something

So definitely worth going back now that you’ve found an album that really anchors him for you as an artist you like

As a writer & a lyricist I have immense respect for him honestly think he’s gifted in that way, just don’t always jive w the soundscapes or some of the frequent collaborators if that makes sense, but I also see what you’re saying lol
