I will say: the album cover feels anticlimactic considering what's preceded.
Though I don't know if that building holds some significance I'm missing.
i feel this - at this point between woods solo albums, Armand Hammer, and Elucid solo albums, they have some incredible album covers, especially recently. Shrines and Haram are both the types of album covers that kind of stop you in your tracks. Kinda weird going from that to such a (seemingly) low effort generic album cover.
That being said, the music speaks for itself. Im beyond hyped to listen to this this week.

One again shilling this album from the guitarist on We Buy Diabetic Test Strips because its real f***ing good. Meditative, hypnotic, noisy, hardcore, you could use a million words to describe all the places this s*** goes
If my expectations for the intensity of WBDTS’s sound were initially too lofty, this band is a big reason why
AH about to put up some real numbers with all the press and their physicals getting sold out
Singles got me thinking we’re about to get a new benchmark of experimental rap music
They’re about to drop their magnum opus on our headtops

It is time… to reassess the AH album ranking. And I’m counting Wht Lbl as an album
#1 Paraffin
#2 Shrines
#3 Rome
#4 Wht Lbl / Haram tie
#5 Furtive Movements
#6 Race Music

Explain the Haram decision brother Sherm. I feel like that is somewhat derisory placement.
I believe I would go:
Paraffin
Haram
Shrines
Rome
WHT LBL
Furtive Movements
Race Music
My biggest decision point is on Shrines Vs Rome. I love both. Yet still one must lose. Sometimes this world crushes even the most brilliant of diamonds.
or such a dense and overwhelming piece of music, it’s remarkably cohesive—it’s clear there’s now an Armand Hammer sound. The duo’s corralled a stable of excellent producers that includes steadfast collaborators like Preservation, Child Actor, August Fanon, and Kenny Segal, but it’s JPEGMAFIA, who produces four collage-like pieces on the album, who truly sets the tone. Nothing stands still; beats switch minutes into songs, glitching distortion interrupts grooves; vibraphones, flutes, and synths slip around drums like smoke tendrils. It’s a lot to take in, but impossible to ignore. Everything feels like a snarl, teeth bared, ready to pounce.

Peggy the goat
tbh i wish he did whole album
Would've been great but I'm sure the album sounds amazing as is.
