They fed us during the pandemic. Like you said, we were watching free top tier battles. I don’t wanna overreact but smack not dropping on YouTube has helped cool down battle rap. The casual fan has no clue who the new dudes are cause they have 0 battles on the URL channel

Nah you’re right. Battle rap views were at an all time high when URL dropped on YouTube. The app is good but what balanced it out was the free caffeine events. The only way new guys get buzz now is by battling on smaller leagues (Riot, Trenches , BagsNBodies etc) that sometimes stream free events on YouTube.

The only solution I can think of is if Smack makes the app free but with ads and add a view counter.
