yea I feel you. you could even have it be completely disconnected from jedis and the empire, like you could have a movie about a random solar system that hasn't been discovered by the interstellar community yet (because it's tucked away in a hidden corner or whatever) and they have planetary conflicts with different species and space ships (since it's still star wars after all) but they haven't figured out hyperdrive so it's all contained to this one system. and they use and harness the force in their own unique way. and then maybe in the end of the story they finally connect with the interstellar community and get introduced to jedis or the empire and you could mix it up with them in a sequel.

Vader would be more menacing to me if he was more human than robot. like, if he had a robotic leg and hand with a f***ed up face and could move like a regular human. Would also interesting to see a Vader who is more like grievous. the current version of him is to stiff to me.
