maaaannn they needa bring in sam witwer as starkiller
that’s never going to happen
The villains of this show are so stupid, if you want your audience to actually feel scared by the villains make them out smart the heroes so that the heroes can seem more heroic
That scene from the last episode where those mercenaries captured Obi Wan was so dumb, they didn't do anything clever or smart just aghhhh

the problem is, besides the script, how the scenes are shot imo
The Leia chases, the way they solve the action...it is horrendous
The construction site setting is taking me out of the fight
its so pedestrian
Same. They went from fighting in a lava pit to gravel pit
This episode further worries me
One thing I don’t like about Kenobi is his mannerisms in this episode, I understand he’s frustrated given the situation he’s in but he’s so out of character and not being level headed at all
The fight near the end of this could’ve been presented so much better but as it is now it just looks so cheap
There aren’t even any intense flashes when their blades hit its just sparks
I’m sorry if I’m sounding nit picky but it’s just not giving me any indication that the quality of this show will go up any further
I don’t know why all of this show is being shot in a hand held style, it grounds the show but Star Wars to me was always meant to be cinematic to some degree so I expect a show to be that
Idk I just don’t feel like this is really is as good as it could be and that’s all I really want from it
Tbh all the Disney+ shows feel like an afterthought and they managed to catch lightning in a bottle with Mando. That’s just how I see it they all got cool parts but overall they’re just alright.
y’all tripping
this episode alone was better than rise of skywalker
A video of dj khaled taking a s*** is prolly better than TROS

Yeah I've noticed this too. The directing is subpar. The show as a whole has a very cheap feel.

worse effects but it’d have a better story at least
that’s not his voice
I could tell the moment Vader spoke it was AI
You can tell it’s actually him in Rogue One
Forreal? I didn’t check the credits - was he credited?
Episode three definitely made up for that dog s*** second episode. i'm interested in story even if idrgaf about the leia plot line.
agreed with above user though. show has way too cheap of a feel for what it should be. should honestly have been a movie, dare I say trilogy.
who woulda thought disney would rinse and repeat s*** f*** tropes.
im so beyond tired of the conventional heros journey lol. let me guess obi wan stinks now because he lost "the way" and after this ass whooping he will train/heal and regain form.
the hopeless ex-hero trope is just tiring. feel like ive seen it too many times before. on top of that stranger things is doing it better currently with their 11 arc. only on episode 5 though.
Not gonna lie, this feels ok thus far. Nothing spectacular or anything, kind of bland and just Aight. We’ll see how these remaining episodes go but I was definitely expecting more from this
One little thing I did really like is the sense of world building in where there are people who support the Empire.
Namely the driver Freck. Like not everyone is going to be against the Empire and even would be actively supportive. Kind of gives me MAGA vibes but that makes sense in a world where evil has taken over.
Show is pathetic
The best thing for Star wars is to reboot
They don’t need to reboot that’s the thing. The universe is so big they can move in any direction they want but they insist on milking nostalgia instead of making something new

These shows would be fire if the original trilogy didn't exist because they wouldn't be tied down to that lore. Although I know these shows wouldn't exist without the og trilogy but thats how I feel.

That was the one redeeming thing I found about the episode. It’s maybe the 2nd time I’ve ever seen a civilian in a mainstream SW property actually be pro Empire. Too often in mainstream Star Wars properties (movies/tv shows) they paint such a black & white world view Republic = Good, Empire = Bad, Jedi = Good, Sith = Bad, etc. There is almost never any nuisance, or morally or ethically gray scenarios. Just right or wrong. You’d have to read comics/books, or play SW games if you want any of this nuisance and even then it’s still not as fleshed out as it should be imo.

its time to do a darth maul solo show
Darth Maul had the best drip in the entire franchise. I mean after Princess Leia's outfit on the Hoth base, Maul comes in at second with that incredibly well fitting black cloak attire.
Even Ye was bitiing off the Maul drip
Forreal? I didn’t check the credits - was he credited?
He is credited dude is talking out his ass
that’s never going to happen
They considered making him an inquisitor for rebels
