Can’t believe we’re seeing Ewan McGregor playing Obi-Wan again and Hayden as Vader in 2022
Can’t believe we’re seeing Ewan McGregor playing Obi-Wan again and Hayden as Vader in 2022
this is partially down to how much love the prequels have been getting since TFA dropped and the memes that followed.
the prequels are far from perfect, however George clearly had a plan in mind and the world building outside of the movies was dope as hell with the extended universe.
Why would the emperor let anyone know Vader’s true identity?
Obi-Wan knew anakin was Vader. He didn’t know Vader was alive after Mustafar. He probably tried to cut himself off from the outside world other than the job so not sure how in the loop he was with the emperor etc.
Why would the emperor let anyone know Vader’s true identity?
People didn’t know Vader was Anakin at first
At least that used to be canon..............
I think I already got this s*** figured out f***
I think Reva was one of the younglings that we saw at the start. So assumedly, she saw Anakin kill the other younglings, fueling her hate for the Jedi. She wouldn’t know that Anakin is Darth Vader, so if she finds out she could turn.
God I hope I’m wrong
I’m so stupid so that first scene was from when anakin killed those kids??
I’m so stupid so that first scene was from when anakin killed those kids??
That was Order 66 so it could be leading to that
The Sister is not too bad to me tbh, feel like her corny way of saying s*** is holding her back from being good rn, but she’s aight.
The real problem for now is Leia. Horrible acting & tbh just tired of dumb children having to be rescued.
You gotta be the only saying the kid can’t act
halfway through the first ep and I gotta say, I didn't sign up for this leia b storyline
Things that I Loved:
-the recap was amazing. Perfect way to start this show.
-Him calling out Qui-Gon in the cave
really got his sense of isolation there.
-Him being reminded of Padme when he talks to Leia and her apologizing when he said she died. His “me too” as if he’s apologizing to her back for losing her mother
-And the final moment realizing Anakin is still alive. Chills…
the child actor playing leia is pretty bad and her character makes
outright stupid decisions
this episode had a ton of filler, which isnt great for a second episode. I just feel like this could be such a great intimate storyline between obi wan and anakin if it was scaled down a bit
that being said i loved the first episode outside of the leia stuff, s*** with uncle owen was dope
the parkour on top of the buildings scene
All those scenes of her primally jumping over buildings just for Obi to have enough time to force hold Leia in the air and then safely climb down without any interference from her or the other 15 people who were converging on his location. :elon:
