hire new writers then. and please bump the budget
my opinion on this s*** sours every week. this show is strange as f***. at times it's really good, but every other scene something absolutely garbage happens. not to mention the weak ass production design and camerawork
Feel like they could've shot it in a way where they thought that person actually died
Exactly
it didn’t even look like she gasping for air or on the verge of dying
Best looking movie is clearly rise of skywalker man that movie in imax was incredible.

Looking wise, for me, from the ST:

Palpatine lightning scene against the rebel ships and Rey and Ben fight on the old destroyed Death Star are better than any scene in every other movie.
Bland ass characters can't even name half the team, way too many characters, CGI Tarknin & Leia, just really boring until the 3rd act. The fight on scarif and the vader scene are cool but that's it. CGI was also amazing best looking star wars movie besides TLJ
they're not supposed to be all of that memorable, they died at the end. its a suicide mission that just ties in episode 3 and 4 and bridges the gap. it serves its purpose
they had 2-3 hours to introduce the characters and then by the end they're all dead. cant really blame them for not putting time into the character work on screen
That scene was so good it makes ppl believe rogue one is actually a good movie
its probably slightly overrated but i do still think Rogue One is one of the better projects of the disney era
Rogue one is f***ing amazing idgaf. Closest thing to a Star Wars war movie we’ll get
The scene where the rebels exit hyperspace into the Star destroyer
TLJ is the best looking by a mile, sadly not a huge fan of the movie in general but i've always respected what RJ was going for
But i'll always love how Rogue One gave us just a much more modern look at the OT era films. Seeing the Death Star, Yavin 4, etc with modern special effects was just so f***ing elite

Haven't seen it so idk if they bland or not but movies introduce and develop characters and get you to care for them in less than 2 hours literally all the time lmfao

this is disney star wars dude lol. you're not gonna get goodfellas tier character development in a star wars movie where all the characters get axed at the end anyway
movie does its job well, imo. you still havent seen it?
we cant even get character development that leads to characters we forreal like in this kenobi show. and there has been 5 episodes that are around 45 minutes long a piece.
just watched Episode 3, what the f*** was that 💀
ain’t no way obi-wan was supposed to get outta this

Rise of skywalker might be the worst looking
Horrible cinematography
Overly contrasted
Weird close shots in the space battles
Cheesy slanted angles

I'd put it above tfa in terms of looks had really good planets, and pretty good practical effects. It is very annoying with the amount of blue tho

After all the other s*** disney has dropped i've come to really appreciate it and I would be insanely happy if we get a show like R1 in a diff era. Honestly if the characters weren't blank pieces of wood it probably be my fav next to TLJ
