The irony of this show is that this could have been a movie. These episodes are not that long and it has a plot of a summer blockbuster with character beats that aren’t as important as the plot.

There are some definitely genius moments here (Obi-Wan talking about his family pre-Jedi life, using a decoy ship to distract Vader and tying that into flashbacks that showcase Anakin’s hotheaded nature, etc.) but I would have preferred a slower more methodical take. It’s just a bit too breezy with character dynamics that seem very tropeish.

Maybe bc I was assuming that they got cool after they realized that they both were going after Vader

Their biggest issue is they've made it a story driven series (saving Leia) rather than a character driven one (how Obi wan and vader are dealing with the fallout of ROTS).

There are glimpses where they focus on that part but 90% of the plot revolves around Reva (she literally closes every ep by progressing the plot) and Leia (who we know is fine). You don't market the Obi Wan show around Leia and Reva man. It's about HIM not them.

They should of just left out the twins and focused on Obi Wan and how hes dealing with hiding etc. Have the inquisitors be Vaders lackeys rather than characters with s*** 'arcs'

Show them hunting the Jedi. Show them serving Vader. Show Vader losing his s*** and still mourning Padme. Show Obi Wan feeling helpess as he can't help Tattoine farmers without revealing he's a Jedi. Have him reunite with his girl

Dooku stabbed Anakin and Obi Wan, the only fatal stabs we seen in live action is Qui Gon and Han Solo iirc
