I even remember TFA getting mad praise originally until TLJ came out
TLJ was the turning point for Star Wars fans and since then it’s gotten more and more toxic

Kingcrowded_I’m still reserving discrediting the show until it’s over . I think y’all are mostly overreacting (still haven’t watched episode 4)
There’s 6 episodes… the 4 episodes have only had 1 good one. 1 episode had 2 chase scenes where grown men couldn’t catch a kid running 2 mph in a forest and a city, where they ran into branches right in front of their faces and tripped over grass where there were no branches…. There’s a dumb b**** acting terribly pretending she’s something when she’s not and they killed a legendary inquisitor in one blow…

at least one of the trilogies put forth some effort, while most of the Disney era is pretty much cash grab after cash grab Lucas was a s***ty director, but you can point out in the prequels where effort and creativity was shown. There's some inspiring stuff across the 3 prequels. And the choreography is light years ahead of the sloppiness we keep getting from Disney
TLJ is not even close to a cash grab.
It’s the exact opposite and people loathe it for the risks it takes
