Does Cuomo mispronounce Mamdani on purpose or is he just incapable of saying it correctly?
Def on purpose he’s been corrected multiple times bout it
This is so funny man
some groyper made this and had to specify “109” Muslims and now it’s being spread over twitter
“Likely fake” shares it and people go in an uproar
classic engagement bait political post
Can't believe it took Dems this long to come up with a guy like him
Shouldn't be that hard to beat a republican really
Democrats did not come up with him
The amount of vile and racist s*** I’m seeing on Twitter from elected officials is actually astonishing. Mamdani is such a class act and I know that will make the victory that much sweeter. Me I’d rather see these people executed personally
Accounts are just posting 9/11. It's so f***ed up
Democrats did not come up with him
One of the most embarrassing campaigns of all time
Good riddance d***head
His whole campaign has just been vote for me, you know me, I have the experience, we don't want socialism, protect capitalism, I know how to deal with Trump. Any policies he mentions is just in response to what Mamdani and Sliwa are saying they will do.
He literally thought he could just win the primary on just his name brand alone. Never had a plan to actually improve the city. It's obvious to anyone with half a brain that he just wants to be in a position of power
is silwa not seen as a serious candidate? havent been keeping up but im confused why repubs are backing cuomo instead
How are my comrades feeling about this one? Personally I think that a Zohran win is a net positive for Americans seeing that the word Socialist isn't a scary thing that they should kick back against.
If he's able to pull off any of the stuff he wants to do, I think the American people that are paying attention will see that working people can get wins in this country. Very excited to see how this turns out.

It would at least be hopeful to see someone put into power somewhere in this country who isn't wanted by the DNC or the GOP. The fact that the DNC is still trying to paint him as evil tells so much. They don't want progress for us, they just want the power and they'll use the progress as a vehicle. I need radical people in power who genuinely give a f*** about normal lower class people. It's only the mayoral race for a state I never visit, but it's a start.

Best case scenario he wins and is able to prove better things are possible and it opens the floodgates but i think its an error to think "Oh a nice democrat got elected i can relax now" and its rather he will have a lot of obstacles in front of him if he does in fact win
Its nice in a sort of representative sense but people cant get complacent just because a good election result happened
Regardless i know it means a lot to people even around the world interestingly enough and i wouldnt want to take that small victory away from them
But its also important to note that while he nominally calls himself a socialist he is still saying things like "im not a marxist or communist" in interviews which in a sense i understand bc hes under extreme scrutiny hes trying to appear safe but ppl need to not kid themselves into thinking modest reforms that have actual precedent already in capitalist society is "socialist".
Ideally this will drive people to learn more about all that s*** though and be more open to it and i think hes making the calculation of tying himself to the bernie-aoc bloc of demsoccery
which... theres criticisms but i get why a progressive would do that, its popular right now and you can get access to power that way
also itll be nice for these racist islamophobes to burst a blood vessel and seethe is all

At best he will get a good amount of no-nonsense policy done and play a part in normalizing socialism that we can use to our advantage in pushing for labor-based political Movements
At worst he will only prove to us the lesson that electoralism and social liberalism will not solve the fundamental problems of the US and capitalism
As is he’s done a great job in showing both establishment liberals AND revolutionary leftists on how to run a successful political campaign. I think a lot of my comrades are caught up in high level theory, macro politics, infighting, and ideological platitudes that they forget the very obvious, material, pressing issues that mass line bases its politics on

I'm glad he's a better speaker than "democratltic socialist" AOC... because she is terrible when speaking on policy or defending herself from attacks.
