The Tony Bontana verse he was really excited about is actually a low point for me lol, just think he was singing so wonderfully on there it didn't need that verse

"Cult Interlude" is also such a mood killer every time I listen

Automatic Love is nice but I think I get cooler on it every listen

Max Potential would've been so raw as the intro

I don't know fam. It's my favorite opening track of this year I think lol

Like max potential I think is one of his best songs ever but the other tracks on the record don’t top that for me quite yet. I bet it grows on me

damn this is pretty easily his best project yet to me, feel like he took all of his best sounds to a whole new level here and stepped up his songwriting. EP2 will always have a special place in my heart tho and it's still pretty close in quality

What’s even crazier is how clear of a step up EP2 was from the singles they released before that. Right before the album dropped I went thru the singles cuz I never heard them before and although there was some heat, you can tell by the time they dropped Quantum Suicide that you need to keep your eyes on them

Literally mind boggling to me how anyone can say EP2 is better than this. Great album of course, but The Passionate Ones is a level up in every conceivable way.

Donno, it's a great album. But none of the songs reach the highs of The Fields, Hell of a Ride, s*** even Daddy is better than most of the songs on here, at least imo. Maybe it'll grow on me though. I will say it is a "deeper" and more personal album.

There’s bare minimum 4 songs on this thing that are better than all the ones you just mentioned. Besides, if we’re gonna do the “higher highs” thing then you’d also need to mention how the weakest song on here would still rank middle of the pack on EP2
