Real one detected lentils done changed my life once I realized their protein:carb: fiber ratio. It kinda fills a lot of holes I had in problems with my diet last year. But yea I feel you on never going full vegan. But cutting down on meat really helps a lot tbh

Rape is also rare in the animal kingdom. It’s not like animals just go rape everything. This is because they have s***to reproduce, not to feel good, so unless there is a female in the area in heat who is unwilling there would be no rape. This also requires the female to be dominated by the male which usually doesn’t happen because animals (mammals in particular) try to impress the female before mating, placing the women on a higher social hierarchy than the male when it comes to this. Ofc there are cases of “rape” though. I put it in quotations because rape is a legal term humans use bc we have consent. Consent as we know it doesn’t exist for animals. So I’m not sure it’s the best example to use when comparing to something as black and white and common as eating to survive
