Also, idk if I’ll be able to articulate this point of mine well, but imo pop music has been in such a great place the past 5-7 years. A lot of it is very musical (an array of instruments being used, not really pinned down to a particular trendy sound) and catchy, much better than the previous era of s***ty overly-produced electronic/edm beats with no hook and soul-less verses
