It’s absolutely mind blowing that Bill Skarsgard was in that role. He 1000% completely disappeared in to his role, and he did a phenomenal job
It’s a shame that award shows never give any attention to horror films, because he deserves nominations for this

Dec 26, 2024russianbot23Good movie. Probably my least favorite from Eggers tbh, but still really well done. Just felt it was missing something. I think I didn’t care enough for the main 2 characters? May take some time to articulate my issues with it. No glaring faults though, definitely an enjoyable watch.
The movie gave me a feeling of emptiness, especially the black & white scenes in the castle or landscape shots. I’m trying to determine if I feel like the movie was missing something or it just made me feel like I was missing something
