why you say that? i believe he's going to finish what he started with vvitch and lighthouse. this is going to be phenomenal. the cast is all pure. cmon eggers doing a dracula story, might be what was meant for him all along. i cant see him missing on this one given his style, its a perfect match.

The northman was way too grand in scope compared to his previous two movies which were exercises in isolation and simplicity. They were also quite scary especially the lighthouse. This movie being described as “epic medieval fantasy” sounds more like the former

dodged a bullet with harry styles

but ion think the "grand scope" made the northman bad per say. if anything it was the subject matter or the writing maybe. i actually think the style he used on northman would suit this subject matter much better. we'll see tho, might not be out till 1st quarter '25

Northman woulda been goated without that weird lacrosse scene

Northman lacked the rigorous attention to period language like he had on his first two. Also way too much spoon feeding of an already very straightforward plot. His first two didn't explain s*** and it felt amazing.
