Drake and 21 lame for this tbh. I don’t get the point in a fake rollout. I truly don’t. Unless this some double juke and it turns out to be real or there is some creative and/or funny outcome to this they both really lame for this.

bruh if he posts a fake "100 versions of the album" mocking the usual artists that do that during their rollouts.. would be hilarious but maybe too messy since he has relationships with some of them.

also the casual person prob doesn't understand that artists do this to boost sales

he making fun of taylor and adele

Would make more sense if they made it blatantly clear it's a parody.
Even as parody, this is doing the bare minimum, and just lazy parody.

Maybe, if they actually did a "fake" Tiny Desk performance, with ppl expecting the album songs. But instead they just just read out the song lyrics as if they were reading a book or something. So we don't actually hear the songs. Idk. Something like that is a successful troll, but at the same it tells your something about the album.

I don't know what they actually did though. At most the only reaction they'll get is "oh... I was actually looking forward to that.... sucks that it was fake".

to mock the predictability and ridiculousness of rollouts i mean it’s just a bit of fun i don’t think they thought anything other than that cos they’d have went way weirder with the parody vids
