Imagine thinking abolishing the police is a good move

Just admit your system is flawed and would not be equipped to handle this situation lol.

This was the example you chose to give, not our fault it was easy to pick apart.

    Synopsis

or, the domestic violence victim can call or text a number and be connected with resources that can securely remove her or husband from the premises and then respond to the actual underlying issues in an appropriate manner.

and there'd be no need for stealing lol

Also call/text a number and connected with resources that can remove her husband sounds like the job of a state police force or private force haha. What happens if her husband is strong enough to hold off one to three people who are unarmed "community policing unit." Additionally, when they remove the husband from the premise where are they putting him because prisons have been abolished? How do we know he won't end up right back in the house that same night?

do you think he's just beating the s*** out of her 24/7?

i don't think youre aware of the actual realities of spousal abuse.

Answer the question : what if the husband refuses
    Not aware of spousal abuse?

Are you aware that the abused spouse is more likely to protect the abuser
Are you aware that even after those women shelter a chunk of them go back to what they know (the abuse)
Are you aware that the human psyche in order to protect itself will normalize violence and not know how to function in a non-abusif relationship (that's what therapy is for)
Are you aware of the reality that, yes a' abuser will do anything to keep their victim (which isn't hard when the victim has been mentally abused for a significant amount of time) thus holding them hostage
Are you aware that most domestic violence victims already feel like hostages (not able to travel, leave the house, purchase anything without their abuser controlling it).

What the f*** are you even on right now

    And again
🗣️ ANSWER THE DAMN QUESTION :WHAT IF THE HUSBAND DOESN'T WANT TO GO TO YOUR REHAB CENTER, NOR CHANGE HIS WAYS?

HOW ARE YOU MISTER "THESE ISSUES AREN'T THAT COMPLICATED BUT ALSO GO READ BOOKS ON ABOLITION THAT I HAVEN'T NAME DROPPED ON SOME NONAME S*** "

GOING TO REHABILITATE A PERSON THAT REFUSES TO?

Why are you worried about now? No one is saying “now” is good.

How does your society deal with that issue?

A lot better than in the scenario I just described to you. You're working from the most extreme examples. Anything I say to you, you can just come up with another condition to try and poke a hole. No set of answers will ever satisfy you, hence why I told you to go read a book. I'm not going to indulge in this dumbass game all night when we're coming at this from two completely different outlooks on human nature to begin with. The fact of the matter is, I don't have to spell out the conditions for a perfect society for you, because what i've already set out for you is preferable to what we have now.

my guy you just kept adding bullshit layer after bullshit layer lmao, making this abuser more psychopathic and revenge filled along the way. but guess what, maybe his anger is a product of the conditions he's forced to live in under a capitalist society. maybe his marriage is strained because he has to work long hours, barely makes enough money to do anything, and his material conditions and his psyche have declined because of it.

luckily, i'm not a capitalist and my ideal society is not capitalist, so those things are gone as well. everyone will be much happier for it.

Yea the police f***ed up. The kind of ppl drawn 2 a position of near absolute power can be unstable a lot of the time. In other words, the nature of the current police system kinda guarantees bad cops. Thing is, that’s not really an easy problem to solve.

I think what should really be focused on is private prisons and the school to prison pipeline. That’s the root of a lot of issues we have rn, the state of police is kinda just a symptom.

It’s not inherently better then what we have now.

Fam don’t be condescending towards me when you’ve shown zero critical thinking or comprehension skills. You don’t have the mental fortitude to explain your thoughts in a coherent way without giving up (which is exactly what you’re doing), yet think some half-assed replies are the defining path for us to move forward?

Zero enforcement officers is not a preferable way of living AT THIS MOMENT.

private prisons are a parasite on the current system, not a root cause
