Black people are disproportionately arrested by the police because of the violence and d*** use in their communities. This is caused by their lack of generational wealth (slavery) and the war on d****. While black people aren't exactly targeted solely for their race now (although profiling is still a serious issue) many of the current issues that their community face was caused by systemic racism in the past.
