they don’t wanna talk about it cuz it Beyoncé
How about white owned music labels exploiting African aesthetics? Ever think of that one
honestly it only bothers me cuz she barely be in any african country, i think she visited like 4 in a 20 year span and they were all for events, the love doesn’t seem genuine when it’s only shown when she’s making money
nobody in africa, a continent with 50+ countries can even watch the movie
so this is another 30 pages of ktt struggling to see Noname is spitting facts huh

Ohh okay. Well this is pretty f***ing useless then, so far
Damn, so Bey using Africa for 'aesthetic' purposes only
lmao this is a major issue for diaspora and their own home countries but i wouldn’t expect the multigenerational americans on ktt to understand
There’s nothing wrong with black Americans trying to reconnect with a culture that was stolen from them
There is a difference between genuinely trying to reconnect with African culture and using African imagery to sell your product.

Right like wtf is wrong with beyonce doing that
Also this hollier than thou attitude a little funny in the light considering she used to call herself noname gypsy lol

Is this like arguing with her point or agreeing with it?
Cause the films soundtrack is The Lion King soundtrack which is generating profit for both Disney and Columbia

If she is shading Beyonce, which I'm not sure of, it just seems like she's barking up the wrong tree. Beyonce isn't the issue here imo
Every Noname thread is just an excuse for people to project their anger towards (black) women it seems. Some of y’all don’t even try to hide it. It’s sad.
With that said looking at twitter something is becoming very clear to me.
People were stanning and all in her corner when they could use her to vilify black men. I noticed the same people fall back when they realized that wasn’t what she was trying to do or going for. the same people angry and calling her a bitter twitter activist because she calls out Beyoncé.
People only like to back people up when it falls in line with their agenda it seems. Noname does so much good and is just trying to educate herself, and get other people to do the same. People were supportive of that and glorifying her for all of a week before turning a complete 180 on her because they have an Idol worshiping problem in regard to Beyoncé. I’m not too educated on the topic she’s addressing to say if she’s right or wrong calling her out but it makes you realize how hypocritical this internet s*** can be

Oh yea I get what you’re saying
I think her “shade” is more just saying that it’s great for Beyoncé to promote African culture but to be aware of who’s profiting from it and who’s not
