@Nikedufflebag and it's not just the skin color of the said rapper it's the content of the rap as well. The de-radicalization of said genre is a real thing.
gonna leave this one open since @op has never called hip-hop a “low IQ genre”
gonna leave this one open since @op has never called hip-hop a “low IQ genre”
But I had the most logical post in the last thread allegedly why did you take this away from me
Pop and country don't seem to be having the problem
They’re being w****d out by corporations for fewer artists than we have fingers and toes
Who wants that for their art form other than those who seek to use it as a vehicle for exploitation?

so real
@dtownboogie your posts remind me of Plato in Republic
Truly out there a***ogies then I think Yeah actually

How is keeping rap in the good graces of the billboard charts gonna do that
I typed up a rant about podcast listeners in the last thread that will never see the light of day as it got locked and I never copied it
Oh well
Pop and country don't seem to be having the problem
pop has a way higher reliance on legacy acts
Country has like 3 successful new guys like that
Cowboy Carter inflated country numbers last year lol she’s not even a country artist
The biggest pop artist commercially is Taylor swift

Take it to the politics sxn Jaden Smith. I'm not trying to talk about the geopolitical and economic state of the world

context of that post was him asking where was the "de-blackening of said genre"

It makes me crazy. In the UK, around 51% of adults aged 16+ reported that they had listened to or watched a podcast in the last month. I haven’t listened to one this YEAR
context of that post was him asking where was the "de-blackening of said genre"
Using identity politics to gauge radicalism
About the de blackening point or whatever
Ian is not even big like that is the funny thing like he’s not even B tier , and Yeat is a creative ass hard worker who’s beloved for his music
10 years ago rap is a mountain and Eminem is the goat were not hard to come by lol what r we doing
Nettspend is literally not even mainstream
Mans had logic topping charts, mgk, iggy azaelia doing the most blatant cosplay oat, Macklemore, mac miller, a whole frat rap wave
so I really don’t get the thing of acting like it’s extra colonized
Like who’s the white rappers rn
Ian, Yeat, nettspend, esdeekid, Jane remover?
2 of these ppl are mainstream if ur generous
other than Ian and nett these are all very unique artists who are well beloved and it’s not even like they are at the top rn or anything. Nett isn’t even top 3 biggest in his scene
Using identity politics to gauge radicalism
you really just leave your brain at home when you come into music sxn I notice.

You can’t put that on the young guys/girls you gotta look at the world they grew up in. A 05-07 baby can’t have the same content an early to mid 90s baby can. Also the 05-07 baby isn’t gonna have the same listening habits either.
These kids are growing up thinking that type of s*** is lame. They’d rather get it from a podcaster than a rapper

It's like yall deliberately overlook obvious points of someone's post in order to hammer home something that was never even said man look yall got it lol.

My first post was entirely on topic to what you’re saying then.
How will keeping rap in the good graces of billboard keep it from being de radicalized?

then just say de radicalization then? It’s not like white rappers are dominating nor like it’s only white peoples bumping hip hop
But I had the most logical post in the last thread allegedly why did you take this away from me
that’s precisely why i had to

Listening to people chat s*** for an hour over music in the background is crazy
