What do you mean?
switch library isnt as satisfying as other consoles to me tbh
its convenient so i use it the most in this period of my life but if i had any other console i'd play that more because i think theres more variety of appealing games overall
so i'd like more of a showing from nintendo
he may have forgot about MH Stories 2 and No More Heroes 3 and Pokemon SDBP and Diablo 2R
plus there's Skyward Sword and SMT3HD
no more heroes might be nice but im more of a bayonetta guy
pokemon risky but might be worth it
might play skyward sword but i might not
diablo 2r is not something im interested in
the one i didnt mention was SMT3 looks nice but switch almost has too many JRPS expect the best one P5
Switch has been dope imo. I got mine in 2019.
My regular games:
Astral Chain
Pokemon Shield
Dragon Quest 11
Fire Emblem Three Houses
Mario Odyssey
Zelda: Link's Awkening (i have BOTW on wii u btw)
Divinity Original Sin 2
Monster Hunter Rise
Digimon Cyber Sleuth
Smash Bros. Ultimate
My ports:
Pikmin 3
Mario 3D World
Oddworld: Strangers Wrath
Okami HD
Games im getting in the future:
Bayonetta 3
Shin Megami Tensei 5
Metroid Prime 4
Pikmin 4
No More Heroes 3
Pokemon Legends Arceus
Pokemon Snap 2
Monster Hunter Stories 2
Not the biggest library ever, but still pretty good imo. And i know theres more stuff that im not into that others are such as Mario Kart, Bravely Default, Xenoblade etc.
It's been good for me, but i also have a PS4, so i dont need my Switch to have every single thing, & there are some stuff i prefer on Switch than PS4 with the few cross over titles such as Dragon Quest & Divinity.
And the future so far looks good as well imo.
for September and October u mean?
well theres SMTV and rumored Metroid V
and the other Zelda remasters
and the Metroid Prime HD trilogy
then..
Pokemon SDBP most likely November
and Nintendo doesnt usually do December
we wont know until E3 but it looks to me like most of the year is filled in now and the industry hype is now based on anticipating 2022 games
Odyssey 2 and BOTW2 finna drop the same year

I feel the opposite
The Switch Library is so f***in fire to me
I have so many great games

Debating on getting shield. I know it’s Mediocre but my friend has jail broken his switch and is just going to give me all his Pokémon if I get it. Games already easy from gameplay so why not. And I’m a lil interested in the dlc

u know about SMTV right? P5 gonna be 2nd to that just wait
earned a good paycheck this weekend so i'm finna get a new game
was gonna get super mega baseball 3 on steam, but just downloaded a zip of it instead. so now i'm either getting borderlands legendary collection on switch(only $19.99 rn) or mario all-stars before they take it down
what y'all think? i've never played any of the 3 mario games, and only borderlands 2, which is one of my favorite games ever(never played it on a console though
)
they both have drawbacks though. mario on just the principle of paying nintendo $60 for a mediocre job of a port, and borderlands requires a SD card to download because it's huge

Mario 3d all stars is mediocre for fans who have already played those games because aside from an increase in resolution they dont offer much more, but its a way better deal for those who have never played these 3 classics imo. If you're into platformers id say mario 3d all stars, if not get Borderlands
Anyone played PGA tour 2K21 or NBA 2K21?
What are your thoughts on these especially compared to other golf/basketball games on other platforms?
I played EA’s Tiger Woods pga tour on PS2 and DS back in the day and really liked it but I can’t seem to find much information on how the 2k version compares.
I last played one of the EA nba games in like 2008. Only recently got back into gaming and I wanted something I could just pick up and play

You're just not into nintendo games, nothing they can show could really change that

i’m leaning towards mario, but idk yet. i’ve heard a lot of people s*** on how the controls could be more optimized for the switch, specifically on galaxy
also this is probably heresy to say but i feel like i won’t fw 64 just bc it’s dated and i have no nostalgia for it considering the game came out 2 years before i was born. i think i would like sunshine and galaxy though
don’t really wanna buy an sd card just to install borderlands though so probably getting mario. i just feel scummy about it considering i really don’t want to support how nintendo is doing this, especially the limited release aspect

ok i mean i am???
i just have different preferences in nintendo games clearly i'd be very hype for a different zelda, new mario kart, new mario party, or some more wierd games like they did on the DS??
maybe a pokemon that doesnt look jank as s***?
maybe actually showing some metriod??
sony def put out a way stonger library in the PS4 lifespan overall (not 1st party but including 3rd party)
but yeah blanket statements

Mario 64 has aged kinda bad control wise, to the point i would get frustrated so i can see why you're not too interested in it. Game design is goated tho so at least in that aspect it hasnt aged a second. Mario sunshine is dope but out of the three is the worst gameplay wise imo. Mario galaxy is a goated game that to me only had control problems in handheld cause you'd have to use touchscreen, but when docked its fine really, probably even better than using tue wii mote in the wii. So mario 64 and galaxy handheld were the only games i had problems with although mario 64 its more cause its a product of its times

These are all quality games that have been well received at the very least. I can understand if you dont fw nintendo games but saying it doesnt offer good variety of games is just wrong, your opinion doesnt reflect general consensus, nintendo doesnt have to cater to you and you only
If anything your post was a blanket statement, the usual "nintendo has no games it only has mario and zelda its the same thing every time" we always hear
Do you guys use a case or screen protector on your Switch? I have a Lite and am debating getting one or the other (or both). But I've also had it for about a year with no scratches or damage

You should get a screen protector and a carrying case if you want to bring your Switch out of the house. Not because it isn't durable but just to be extra safe.

Tempered glass screen protector on the screen day 1 when I got my Switch

I would buy a case to put it in when your not using it. I had a 3ds that went like 5-6 years with no signs of wear and tear and then the paint started deteriorating all of the sudden that 3ds looks ugly af. I'm gonna do my best to try to avoid that with my switch but I suspect the paint is different and probably won't even chip away like the 3ds but it's not a risk I'm willing to take.

The grass is always greener on the other side. I have a PS4 and I like it quite a bit but after playing just about everything I want to play on it I could care less about it. I just got a switch that thing is brand new I haven't played any games on it. Can you guess which one I use more? I don't feel like Nintendo is even competing with Sony or Microsoft anymore there doing there thing and anyone buying a switch p much knows what there getting into some people buy switches for one game. Itll be like a Mario kart box or smash box and to some people thats worth it. A PS4 or Xbox will always be better if your interest is third party games.
