yeah i did dude its boring and doesnt even quench my nostalgia from when i played it on PSone way back before i ever started to skate

i was in an offficial West 49 comp, i did horribly but still got a free deck for participation and it was very eye opening

anyways u dont strike me at all as the skater type so im just gonna assume ur a normiecasual who has ridden a skateboard but u dont actually "skate" which is fine and all but skate culture is big and real and terms like poser still fly when people act like theyre bout the culture when in reality ur just a fan of it

which is how we get to the fact that THPS is literal arcade garbage with no learning curve, it had value back in the day because of primitive technology but EA's Skate is praised by every actual skater, professional and amateur

gaming and skateboarding are huge passions tho and unless u actually skate, u wouldnt rly get it which is why skaters always come off as pretentious but honestly no one but a skater will understand skate culture

LOL u definitely havent played Skate or Skate 2 or Skate 3 all featuring real skater cameos and tons of clsssic and modern skate brands without any microtransactions

but the main thing is the controls, the flick controls feel like actual skate simulation but still with an arcade vibe to make it fun

i no joke replay it at least once a year lol

i think it’s the story line / customization for me (mixed with nostalgia ofc)

Yeah I really don’t get this sentiment lmao, there’s plenty of good games on this thing and some of the best games Nintendo ever put out. Some games that can last you hundreds of hours. People just want new s*** I suppose
