so this is what FE gets for their anniversary eh?
i wonder if Metroid will get a twitter video featuring the HD Trilogy + a short MP4 cinematic at the end
and then Donkey Kong would most likely get a twitter video of DK throughout the years and then an explosive and trending trailer of a DK role playing game
and we all know Pokemon is gonna go crazy on the 27th
still not sure about Zelda
since covid19 is still affecting Japan in various ways i predict no official Nintendo Direct video premiere until E3 and it will most likely be prepared throughout the year
Nintendo always does the same E3 production anyways except this time they have a headstart of an entire year lol

We must be getting the botw2 release date this month with the Zelda anniversary thing
what ya’ll think it’s gonna be? Summer? Fall? 2022?
Fingers crossed the next trailer we get has some gameplay
I won’t be mad tho if it’s just more plot teasers

itll drop exactly 5 years after the first release

Nah it'll drop on holiday szn 2021 imo, they reusing a lot of assets and they've been developing it since 2019, 3 years of develoment with the rona is enough. And its zelda 35th, they can use that to market it even more. Maybe they could launch the swith pro too around the holidays with a zelda 35th anniversary botw2 bundle

He has a lite, personally I wouldn’t recommend games like Astral Chain and Splatoon 2. Those games are better with the Switch being docked and a pro controller. Especially Splatoon 2. Playing with motion controls in handheld mode is a nightmare.

lmao so he should just not play Astral Chain at all?
also nah ur wrong man, i have a 65" 4K screen and Astral Chain and BOTW look f***ing terrible on it and any FPS drop is way too immersion breaking
Splatoon 2 on the Lite with a grip is fine if u wanna run a few games off school of work internet (usually higher mbps than home) but i will agree the Pro and a TV for this game is key
also playing with motion controls is the most casual thing ive ever heard of but do u
do any of the Switch TV players itt actually have a 4K screen over 50" in size? the Switch UI and the UI in every game should upscale nicely but instead its a janky messs and ive looked into it and there arent many fixes just picture settings on TV but my Series X and PS5 run perfectly, Nintendo just didnt plan for anything bigger than a 1080p 50" experience
i bet the Pro model will offer all/most games to run at near 60fps with dynamic ranging between 720p and 1440p depending on screen type/size and game optimization with a "quality" option of locked 30fps and dynamic resolution reaching up to 2160p

I’m not taking about picture quality, I’m talking about controls. He already mentioned he regretted buying Smash for lite. AC is one of those games that precision really matters like Smash. The best way to play those games is with a pro controller, not handheld.

Astral Chain isnt that complicated
at all
beat it twice, once in handheld with OG Switch which feels s*** for long play without a grip, but the Lite with a grip is ez pz for everything but Smash and Mkart and Splatoon but still more than playable
2nd play was with my pro controller on this huge screen and yes the confroller helps with my huge hands but the game looks terrible yet on handheld looked impressive..
we shouldnt be arguing about this Nintendo should just make the experience flawless from here on out..
make handheld multiplayer more fun
make tv / home gaming more immersive

From a controller pov I think it is. AC makes you use every button consistently on the controller layout while being an action game. From my experience pro controller just makes the gameplay much more fluid.

so E3 2021
"at the appropriate time"
“Appropriate time”
“Appropriate” is the variable in this equation
“Appropriate time” is the same as “x time”
What is x? X is the appropriate time. X is the Direct date.
“Appropriate” consists of 11 letters
Conclusion: Next Direct on February 11
