we could get HD trilogy like we got NMH1 and 2 and then in early 2022 we could get MP4

At this point metroid prime trilogy is a must, its been rumoured since 2017 it has to happen

and they had that massive delay

Nintendo needs to sell metroid to its fanbase first, they already got a huge install base, as long as they can market it to them its gonna sell, halo aint gonna prevent that

they will want TV commercials for MP4

im sure they dont want those running in the same 6 month period as Halo, another sci-fi shooter

Tv commercials only work for parents whose kids have a switch, all the other demographics, especially those interested in a metroid type game, use youtube and twitch more than they ever use a tv. Im saying all of this while knowing aint no metroid game coming out this year, but i want to state that imo tv ads are useless in this day and age

Im sure if that were to happen the 70 million switch players would just get the new metroid game on a system they already own instead of bying a 400$ console for halo. If even 1/5 of switch owners bought metroid it would be a huge success for the series, that's all they should focus on

But we're talking about nothing so ill just say smt v coming soon
