Nintendo really trying to end Mario before March 31 now judging from that Sephiroth trailer
I didn’t know who Sephiroth was until this reveal but can we talk about how we almost lost Mario tonight and it isn’t even March 31 yet
Casual

I havent but persona, smt, xenoblade, dragon quest, octopath are all classic jrpgs with turn based combat and are all quite good. I feel like they ditches the turn based combat in ff to appeal to more people in the west which i understand but it ultimately kinda loses its final fantasy charme
the ppl that exposed themselves last night, not knowing who Sephiroth is
Not everyone is a fan of jrpgs and not everyone has played final fantasy 7
Considering the first time ff7 appeared on a nintendo console is on the switch and its a old ass dated version it makes sense
So I totally forgot about the order, but I originally bought the 35th anniversy mug.
Turns out they send the out of stock flask.
Can't complain I guess

xenoblade combat and ff7r are similar tho?
turned based with no pause, u can move around and switch chars and stuff
actually my fav kind of JRPG combat

FF7 and xenoblade are. FF7R and xenoblade arent. FF7R is an action rpg like skyrim where you press a button and the character attacks. Xenoblade is kinda different from your average jrpg but only cause you dont have to wait for your enemy and cause the enemies are shown on the map. Besides that, you still have to put up a strategy, wait to use certain moves, kinda like chrono trigger was. FF7R is more like a western rpg than a jrpg
I knew about Sephiroth way before i ever played FF7. That dude is prob top3 most iconic gaming villain
