Starting Galaxy

Edit: you need motion controls to play this game still? I thought that was gone. Won’t even let me select a file to start.

if u play on handheld u can use the touchscreen instead. still not ideal but maybe it'll feel better than motion to you

I’m sorry but the Wii was a mistake. So many potential classics were ruined by motion controls like Mario Galaxy, Skyward Sword, No More Heroes, ect

Galaxy would easily work without motion controls. Essentially how the Switch version does but reprogram everything to not use motion controls. Pick up bits like you do coins in other games, swing on vines like you would in any other game, do racing using the control stick like normal games.

I’m having a pretty okay at best time with Galaxy so far because constantly going upside down with also having to use motion controls constantly due to the star bits is Very annoying.

The multiplayer is fast-paced TDM, like Quake in certain aspects. None of that soft p**** looter-shooter s***

I haven’t played doom since the original Xbox or 360 I think. I think Doom 3? Idk but I remember loving that game

LOL it straight two-girl-one-cups on Doom 3 (3 wasn’t made by the og team, it was a cash cow meant to be more like Resident Evil). Watch some gameplay (both story + multiplayer). Eternal is it’s sequel (not on Switch yet).

I’m usually into games like FF, Zelda & JRPGs, so for me to like something of this genre is saying a LOT.

I’ve never felt this powerful while playing a game before.
