Tbh id rather let this year end without any big announcement so in january 2021 we get like a 1 hour long general direct with massive announcements only, that would be goat af and would also be great marketing for 2021 so nintendo can keep up with next gen

They gonna load up next year because a lot of games were delayed anyways. There’s nothing coming besides the cap collection

If they really wanna announce something coming this year for holiday szn then they should stick with 3d collection if it exists and nothing more. I feel like next year will be really important for the switch so they better keep as many games as they can for 2021

Yeah I strongly believe it’s the perfect time of year to release the collection. It’s big enough to keep Nintendo in peoples minds without having to bring out the big releases to compete with Sony/Microsoft on new consoles. Also, a lot of games are delayed anyways...I’m pretty sure Pikmin 3 wasn’t intended to be a fall release lol.

2021 is definitely the time to drop the big guns, after the initial hype of the new consoles dropping people will he complaining about lack of games. That’s Nintendo’s opportunity.

It’s wild how 2020 has been the perfect storm for Nintendo when you think about it.

Nintendo needs to release some remasters during winter or 2020 is really done for them. No cool third party releases so far either. They will make more money this year than last, just bc of AC and Covid, so maybe they just don't care.

Switch is mid life cycle, it should be getting more this year. Hopefully a direct soon.

Ps4 is dry RN but expected with Ps5 coming up. Nintendo got no excuse other than the Rona
