People often have correct Intro but wrong dates. I’m going to wait until July ends to write these people off. If there is no direct in July then I will not trust these people again.

Also, there is a Switch maintenance to update Parental controls tomorrow at 8pm-9pm PST. One of the rumored announcements for this direct is Disney+ being added to the Switch. Assuming that turns true, Disney+ would be 100% a reason to update parental controls.

GameXplain themselves said there’s a high chance it’s a mini direct. So it could just be shadow dropped tomorrow with no prior announcement even if it includes something big like the Mario collection. Supposedly it’s very hard to put together a normal direct During the pandemic So they might do minis by default no matter how big the announcements are. And to my knowledge I don’t think Nintendo has ever pre-announced a mini direct.

Remember that Kelios leaked the March 26th direct which also happened to be a mini direct. So maybe Kelios has a source relating to specifically mini directs. Multiple trusted leakers believed the 20th so its likely either an announcement of a direct or a shadow drop of a mini direct does happen.
