BOTW2 has to somehow compete with the next gen

gods and mosters is gonna be working on BOTW1 blueprint so def wont compete w 2 but mite be an alternative for other consoles

i would b hype for cyberpunk if i could afford to buy a next gen in the next 5 yrs

anyway im not actually sure what this whole list is about

skyrim is like BOTW and ill stand by it

i agree somewhat, but Gods & Monsters being mythology based and Ubisoft purposefully changing s*** from BOTW to create an original title? thematic dungeons and character bosses that dig deeper into the lore than BOTW's 4 animal laser machines?

that's competitive for BOTW2 imho

Cyberpunk is less fantasy and more sci-fi and would be in the same conversation as Fallout and The Outer Worlds imo

sure sure if we're talking aesthetics then def on allofit

better than Skyrim, majority opinion but not yours
better and worse than Witcher 3 in various ways

Horizon is way better than any Far Cry game. It's a top 5 experience on the Ps4. Horizon 2 is gonna blow any 2021 Switch game out of the water.

talking with yall has made me realise i only play video games to be in cozy places and thats why i dont like alot of great games with mountain aesthetics and stuff

cozy? man, i feel confined by games that don't have freedom, but i also need that freedom to be filled with s*** to do

a few different games come to mind when you talk about coziness

too cozy. Luigi's Mansion 3 felt impossible to finish because of how linear it is - even though i had fun on each floor i just didn't feel the love for the entire game at the end because i didn't really have any freedom, or when there was freedom there wasn't much to do but then next linear task

opposite of cozy. Witcher 3 has so much to do but i'm not a fan of the characters or the lore at all........

same as above. Xenoblade games have a lot to do but most of the side quests feel mundane and repetitive, and are often akin to MMO fetch quests, the best part of Xenoblade games is the lore and the storyline and the uniqueness of the characters

Final Fantasy games are pretty much impossible for me to argue against, i loved 15, 13 trilogy, 12, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 2 and 1

and i don't need an open world either, Dragon Quest XI S and Mario Odyssey areas/worlds felt so big and free even when they weren't

LM3 was boring as s***

witcher 3 just felt cold n sad

but like i can overlook a lot of crap in FF games i dont even like the gameplay much im just happy to be in those cool as worlds

my fave games like TWEWY or like Bayonetta have sick gameplay alongside a really cool world

i know u didnt @ me haha im just saying COZY is my life in the real world, at home, on the job, with friends, out and about

i don't spend a lot of time travelling or hiking or camping in the 3-4 months of warmth that we get

and then the rest of the year being cold and wet/snowy my life gets even MORE cozy

sure sure its taste

my life is pretty cozy overall

but i dont live in the sci-fi bahamas
