We were all blown away by BOTW during our first play through. Does this game have parts that can be critiqued in hindsight? Of course. There are better alternatives out now which improved on BOTW but lets not lie now lol

I loved BOTW and I'm actually emulating TOTK right now. Just started not that long ago but I'm definitely enjoying it and don't see the hate.

I'll say I do think these games are too easy but that's my only real compliant.
