GOTY 2026 incoming
Yeah man it's a good time to be a gamer tbh as we have been getting a lot of good stuff during 2026 so far!
hell yeah I cant wait
if we get TP on Switch I will be geeked
hell yeah I cant wait
Yeah and who knows what will be revealed at TGS 2026... I am not expecting much though because by then so did Sony and Nintendo show us enough stuff until The Game Award 2026 probably unless Nintendo for example decides to do another direct before December 2026.
Imagine it just ends up being a Star Fox style remake.
Still would cop though tbh.
They going Ff7r with this s*** trust
zelda direct predictions
grokrina of time remake gameplay and a port of an old zelda game coming to NSO (probably twilight princess) best case scenario: they rerelease the wii u port of it
nintendo direct prediction
absolute nothing burger but more third party support (this is a good thing)
Ocarina of Time will be a reimagining. New dungeons, puzzles, revamped Hyrule field that isn’t empty, revamped controls, new side quests, new story beats, new items, new clothing options, etc
Anyone expecting a 1:1 remake is going to be shocked.
Two directions in one week.
I'm bouta nut.

For all that, just make a new game.
FF7R did all that
Zack Fair lived and there were time spirits messing with the multiverse in FF7? Aerith survives in different realities and universes after getting stabbed but saved in FF7?
I just don't believe that this OoT Remake is gonna be in a similar vein as FF7 Remake. Mostly because it doesn't seem like it's been in development for that long. It's being released at the end of this year.
I think it's gonna be a remake more akin to what Star Fox Switch was. There will be more story beats and expanded upon moments with characters. Lord knows OoT needs it because it barely had much going on in terms of stories and characters. But that's likely all it's gonna be. The gameplay, locations, dungeons, and items are likely going to be the same just obviously touched up to be more accessible/modern.
But really, they could've just ported the 3DS version to the Switch and I'm positive people would be fine with that.

I think you misunderstood, he’s saying ocarina remake will be like ff7r in that it adds stuff like you listed to the og story of ff7

I look at FF7R as a new game/series entirely off of how Remake ended. It fundamentally changes everything that FF7 is after that. Not a bad thing because I'm enjoying the changes to the narrative. But yeah it's the FF7 creators telling a different story in the FF7 universe now.
I think this OoT "remake" is gonna be less a remake and more glorified remaster akin to what Star Fox was. The gameplay is gonna remain relatively the same, but modernized, and I doubt they're making new dungeons.
Being a remaster isn't even a bad thing because the new Star Fox was great.

A reimagining of OOT was a dream of mine, but if it’s NOT developed in-house then I expect it to just be a faithful remake
would love Pokemon news but those dont happen at nintendo directs sad stuff
The last September Direct featured big PKMN news: Pokopia was announced there and they also announced the DLC for Z-A.
For this Direct we’re probably not getting much for PKMN besides Pokopia DLC though (a last hurrah for the 30th anniversary before it ends would be appreciated doe).
Would love news on a new Animal Crossing or 3D Mario game
I think they don’t talk about those until 2027
90% anime slop unfortunately
Directs actually used to be good until 2020/2021
Remember when Nintendo showed THREE different farm games in a SINGLE Direct
2 car crashes but i will be there
