more used to it now that i've put some hours into it, but really wish it was at least 1440p or somethin.

ehhh it looks pretty decent. the scenery is a bit soft and washed out and the blank facial expressions during cutscenes are obviously a product of last gen, but it gets the job done well enough to stay immersive and keep me invested in whatever is going on.

looks like a base Xbox One game kinda lol

about more or less how i feel about it as well. it's serviceable. would've gotten it on PC, but it's got issues on there as well lol. oh well, not the end of the world.

though one of the cutscenes i saw looks CRAZY good. almost seemed like the resolution got significantly better. prob just CG or something, but damn

lmaooo yeah i’ve noticed certain parts looking better than others, haven’t played since i beat the titty shark tho.

i’m just glad I’m enjoying the combat, cuz Automata imo tried to do way too much without a good combat system in the entire game never beat it cuz it felt like a chore on hard mode. this is feeling slightly easier than hard mode should be, but i’m not mad at it.

the damage is wonky in automata which is annoying cause i love the combat itself. hard mode you basically get 2 or 3 shot and with so much s*** flying around on the screen you're bound to get hit, so a lot of it is just spamming the dodge button. then you just demolish everything in normal so its boring. i eventually adjusted to hard but it definitely needed some tuning. my only complaint with the game really.

i liked automata's quite a bit, but i think replicant's has more weight to it, which makes it a little more enjoyable. i've seen some ppl do some WILD stuff in automata, but i don't have the patience to do all that.
