    Archivos vinyls

interesting, seems he condensed and reshuffled it as a double album w first disc being Salinas Hasbún tracks (w 1 bonus?) and second half tracks from the score.

I thought that Radio was a bit messily presented so def intrigued, wonder if he reworked some of the tracks too for it to function as an album listen

interesting rym review, reading it as a concept album about genocide. don't think that's a hot take since Jaar even before Oct 7th had beed doing workshops in Palestine throughout the pandemic

Jaar is a Palestinian name also btw

  • Oct 26, 2024

I'm happy he released this in this much more accessible and intentional format tbh, the songs deserved better than that huge rambling information dump

digesting and enjoying the Hasbun songs a lot more listening to Piedras 1. dunno if they also got additional mastering maybe.

Agua pa fantasmas is the closest Jaar has been to rap lol, even trap-ish beat.

disc 1 ambient pop w subtle dance bits, disc 2 no vocals rly, some more dancey tracks too. roughly, both quite varied
