Listenable albums has little to do with rapping ability and the fact you keep going back there just shows you’re looking at this too subjectively for us to have a real discussion about it beyond personal opinions.

I was talking raps, raps over a long period of time. And not just “success” it’s more than that. Nicki is the female Hov because while Hov detractors could point to better lyricists like Common, and Nicki haters can point to Noname, it’s still not even a night and day talent difference and then when you get into impact and being a competitive MC it becomes hard to make an argument against the bigger figure in the culture outside personal preference

Nicki is well rounded, it’s not just about commercial success but when you have most of the sliders high it’s gonna beat someone with just a couple sliders. If commercial success and mainly consistency and impact didn’t matter at all then Hov wouldn’t be held so high. Nicki has proven that she can legitimately rap while also doing things that other female rappers have never been able to do and establishing herself as the goat

Like I said before, half of having the crown is stepping up and taking it. I like that Nicki throws her weight around and claims the best as an MC should. She stepped up and claimed the throne so I give it to her until someone takes it. Noname and Rapsody are great but they’re Common and Talib, Nicki is Hov. S*** I prefer common music too but im not gonna put him over Hov
