I understand the big Sean “supa dupa flow” isn’t some high brow lupe s*** but not everything has to be so highbrow to be good spitting either. Imo that was actually a clever and hilarious way to employ it

Like Wayne for example and how a lot of people would use some of his less tasteful punchlines as an indictment on him. When really it’s just a different approach and doesn’t mean he’s not skilled as a rapper, even though I’m sure you consider lupe much better. Imo there’s a conversation there

Imo Nicki is at least a passable to good punchline rapper. And has a top tier rap voice and delivery to go with that skill set. Good flows too

Also @singh its getting lost that all my origina comments are in the context of female rap. Obviously female rap isn’t as strong as the male field. She isn’t elite all time for men (well her voice and delivery are but not over all), but she is for women. One thing I like about her is she flexes/talks rap s*** more than most female rappers. There’s more competitive spirit in her raps than most and I hold that high as a rapping trait, that hunger. At some point, half of having the crown is claiming it. No one did what she did
