Being good matters, yes, but Flacco was good plus has a ring. Neither will be HOFers but I wouldn’t be surprised if Flacco got closer.

Flacco wasn’t really good. He was good from beginning of his career all the way to SB, then he was bottom of the league bad after that besides 2014

hes better than QBs with rings. simple as that look at any statistical category for QBs and matt ryan is top 10-12 in that category all time. plus hes a league mvp, a 4x pro bowler, first team all pro, offensive player of the year.
he has an equal or better resume than warren moon, who is a hofer.

I don’t think pro bowlers and all pro are that noteworthy. They are both considered jokes in today’s league. He has the stats but that’s really it to me. I guess it depends what voters value but I look at Ryan and see a career loser with good stats inflated by today’s passing game.
