He got away with this in College because the scheme worked but this s*** doesn’t fly in the NFL. Just make the simple play

If he can’t make that simple throw then he can’t play

If he knows his bad OL can’t block then he should get the ball out of his hands quick right? It was a simple 5 yard out throw towards the sidelines and he’s afraid to throw it to an open receiver lol. He’s toast

He’s anticipating pressure in a weird way. And to my knowledge he doesn’t have a history of getting smacked in the pocket in college or the NFL

My biggest concern with Baker is he doesn’t get the ball out in time or he just doesn’t spot his receiver (Odell) until it’s too late and doesn’t give his weapons a chance to do anything

You can even go back to that ravens game and see that he had Odell open plenty of times, he’s just under throwing, over throwing and can’t hit him in route (if he even sees him in time)

It’s been 1 week against a good defense with no preseason and a new HC so I won’t panic yet but it’s looking very similar to what we saw last year

Which is unfortunate, I thought Baker was the guy that would turn that franchise around. Not looking like that so far

The most alarming thing to me is seeing him actually eye down the open man and suddenly get happy feet

The 1st thing he's thinking is that he doesn't have enough time so I gotta run run run for my life because the o line was so terrible last year

Also Baker tryna not to turn the ball over as well and I'm sure they harped on that all off season long so it's stuck in his head that ehhhh, I'm not gonna try that, I'ma tuck it and run and punt the ball

He has plenty of time. If he's gonna get hit on either of these throws it'll be after the ball is out his hands

If he's lacking awareness this much or as scared as y'all saying then he shouldnt be in the game
