Why
It's not making you any money
They do that so you get tricked into spending more
Always! Like I ain’t falling for that!
Keep your credit usage at 30%
Get 2 credit cards minimum and always pay on time
Always a good idea
With an APR of 20-25% common with CCs, monthly interest starts to eat you up past 30%
You didn't pay your loans?
And you build credit with a credit card basically just using it and paying your bill on time while keeping your utilization at or below 15% iirc.
I made one big payment recently but im a recent grad so I don’t have to pay anything until September
Just invest it
You should never have more than $2000 in your checking account
I always kept 5k but I was always thinking the worst

Might as well switch your checking over to a high yield savings account

Horrible idea
That could be making you so much more money if you were investing it
Yeah I’m kind of in that limbo rn. Finished my degree and have been doing well in a completely unrelated field, but it’s getting to the point where I really need to go into business myself to really start banking and that requires a full-on investment and I’d be putting myself into debt to make it happen after working my ass off to get through school for something else without major debt.
Yeah man, I’d work the debt down first. Going further into debt is a recipe for disaster
I legit have like 29k in it lol
But do you have any retirement accounts
Don't let Lakedia B see this
I legit have like 29k in it lol
How many months of expenses does that cover for you?

He could deadass invest 27k of that or at the very least put it into a high yield savings account or split it up
