sabres playoffs and NFL draft, finally some good dual screen tv to watch
russini being fired is in line with societal norms and journalistic standards. I cant disagree with that.
I guess I'm saying those norms and standards are pretty hypocritical from where I'm sitting especially given the lack of specific examples of her being a misleading reporter due to this relationship
thing about conflicts of interests is nothing improper has to actually happen for the conflict to exist, you dont need examples of wrongdoing as the risk itself is the issue
a judge technically COULD preside over a case involving his own immediate family and still rule fairly. but it'd never be allowed because the system cant be built on personal assurances of impartiality. it has to eliminate reasonable doubt.
journalism works on a similar principle, even if a reporter believes they can stay objective, a close personal or sexual relationship with a source creates a conflict that undermines trust in the reporting which is why journalists are also taught to avoid even perceived conflicts
Lol I forgot Diddy was in this movie
Is this the most meaningless draft in sports?
