Regardless a lot of star players will probably just treat Week 17 like they did Week 16 and sit out unless the week 17 game determines whether they make the playoffs or not. Most stars were playing a whole half of the 4th preseason game anyway so in reality this only adds an extra half of live game time for a lot of these guys
