You can be going up against a corner that has 4.3 speed and you run a 5.0 but if you beat him off the line every single time and run a precise route then that speed means absolutely nothing

It’s all about positioning, footwork and route running for a receiver

If you have top speed then that’s just a bonus

There’s more 4.5 and worse receivers in the NFL than 4.3 or better

It’s like people don’t understand a corner is always playing backwards

He’s at a disadvantage literally every play
