He missed at least one walk-through with no valid excuse. When the incident at Friday’s practice happened, very few if any teammates came to his defense. Teammates backed Clark, the significantly lesser name.

I'd say the offense. The defense is typically ahead the first couple practices. OL gotta gel, QB gotta get everyone lined up and on the snap count, be in sync with the center, etc.
