Losing Byron hurts but honestly don’t think it’s THAT big of a loss. He isn’t a playmaker. His QB Rating allowed was only like 32nd in the league and he has never got an INT in his entire career that wasn’t a Hail Mary or tipped pass and I think he has 1 INT in his last 48 games

That’s a major part of it but Byron just isn’t a playmaker like that. He has terrible hands, that’s nothing to do with scheme.
I’m sure he could’ve gotten one here and there in a different scheme but just isn’t a CB that creates TO’s

UnityI'd like to see a full season of Kirk in Kubiak's offense before I make any assumptions about his future. Aside from the final game of the regular season, Kirk was lights out in big games last year. It was the defense that didn't show up for those games
Stefanski was in love with Dalvin and our TEs. Kubiak's offense will be much better and actually allow Kirk to drive the ball down the field rather than checking down, throwing TE screens and looking for reads underneath

It wasn't vanilla but it was crazy basic and it wasn't centered around Kirk's talents at all
Decision making and fumbling are his 2 biggest issues for sure but the fact remains he was top 5 in terms of production last year in an offense that was catered towards Dalvin Cook and our TEs
