And thats not really the point. Russ is a top 2 QB and is on a team that wants to run more than they throw and has had a pretty mid draft history over the last 4 years

Pete got a pod now with Steve Kerr where he kinda talked around this

It seems like they turned on Pete but Russ ate a lot of that by proxy

  • Apr 29, 2020

    I don’t think it’s that lol

Imagine losing that way and you got Pete and Russ walking around saying “good game fellas we’ll get em next year!”

Sherm and ET don’t seem like the type to react well to that lmaoo

Plus the decision to throw on the 1 divided them because of the “They ain’t want Marshawn to get SBMVP” narrative that seemed to creep out the locker room immediately after

Added layer of tension was the defensive guys figuring out they were mostly expendable but Russ was definitely gonna get paid (signed for like 90 million after that SB) and at that time they felt like they were still carrying the squad.

1 ring in the NFL is great in my opinion. Nobody can say that a team or player "would have" or "should have" been to more Superbowls. The Superbowl is the hardest championship to make in any of the 4 major sports

If I had a dollar for every time a Panthers fan told me "we'll be back" after the 2015 loss I'd own the team by now. You can never really know if you'll get another shot at it or not

Didn't someone run the numbers and on average a team gets to the super bowl once every 16 years or something close to that

I think winning a World Series is harder because it’s fewer spots to get into the postseason. Then have to play series to win it.

A team that’s 7-9 could have a chance to make it to the SB.

Yes and I just ran a new model that goes even further and says on average a team wins the super bowl once every 32 years
