Draft should’ve gotten pushed back

Well teams have done meetings virtually and teams literally have hours of film on players

I think this draft will show people how pointless a pro day is

Medicals, work outs and meetings aren’t the same over the phone lol this whole pre draft process is f***ed

We’re all gonna argue against GMs wanting to push it back cause we’re bored and nothing else to do but they really should move it back lol this whole process must be tough

Draft should be tomorrow so players can start their long journey of reaching their teams facilities

Medicals, meetings and workouts have already been done at the combine though

I can understand for the guys that didn’t get to be at the combine

Exactly lol not everyone was able to do some of these things at the combine, just look at Tua if you wanna see how much this whole process is f***ed

Tua was being picked top 5 no matter what

Nobody that has a 1st-3rd round grade was gonna change because they couldn’t do a few more workouts lmao

I do understand the late round guys but s***, sometimes you don’t even wanna be drafted in the 5th-7th round

Rather be undrafted and pick where you can go

Push it back to when lol it's not like s*** is really looking like it'd be much better a month or two from now

And even if it was there'd still be restrictions in place to try and stop or slow a 2nd wave of this s***.

Only real argument is for medicals imo. You can have a meeting online over a variety of sites and apps, and most of these guys have had workouts either at combine or pro days I'd assume barring anyone with an injury

Teams like the Dolphins and other QB needy teams aren’t sure what to do with Tua because they haven’t had their doctors look at him which makes picking him way more risky, you can’t argue that it’s harder now to deal with players in this draft that have been dealing with injuries

I understand that but it’s also making it way more harder on these GMs to make these picks with their jobs depending on it without being able to do most of the pre draft s*** they tend to do with prospects they may be interested in, now it’s all a huge question mark

And doing the other s*** online just isn’t the same as doing it in person lol otherwise they would’ve just been doing this for years already

Injuries are different but Tua just been cleared again

I don’t think y’all understand that scouts have a year long job of studying college players lmao

It’s a year round job

It doesn’t just start after the college season

Again, teams trust their doctors more than anything else and it’s tough for them to say f*** it and take a risk when their on medical staff hasn’t looked at a player

And it’s not just Tua lol

Teams want their own doctors to see Tua

His recheck was by the NFL combine though, not his own doctors

Even players who can’t perform at the combine get a medical check

Teams know what players have red flags for injuries

Y’all talking like this a amateur league

Again, it’s not the teams own doctors so it’s still a bigger risk than it already is.

Man that’s 2 months ago compared to now, are you seriously saying this whole process isn’t harder for GMs now?

Come on man we’re literally arguing against all 32 GMs for wanting to push the draft back

I think guys may get some leniency, I mean at the current point in time it's not too much that can be done with the given circumstances. Like let's be honest from now to say June they probably unlikely to do any of the normal things they'd do with prospects

They just gotta deal with it like everyone else, like as of now if the season is to happen we're probably looking at a sloppy season anyways with a shortened training camp and other things that'd probably get cancelled.

Unless you delay it to June or July I don't see things being that different and that'd also conflict with otas and what not

It's not that it's a harder job

Most of these GM are ass at picking players anyways
