just finished, this was great

NWR kinda hit or miss for me, but I loved nearly every episode of this and the overall general story

what I liked the most about it were the characters and how much presence each one had. definitely great acting from everybody, but even the extras who had like a 10 second scene had presence, which is a testament to NWR's storytelling and how he was able to create such tense moments with the ambience and characters instead of relying on dialogue or action

also thought the pacing was really well done. I liked TYTDO a lot too but there were parts where it dragged imo. so 6 episodes seemed perfect for Copenhagen Cowboy, allowing the show to still have its slow moments while moving the story along quicker

definitely the best show I've seen on Netflix, and the most unique one since Twin Peaks, which this show gave a lot of nods to. won't be for everybody but if you like arthouse movies this is arthouse TV done the right way

Yeah ofc it does, it's Refn we talking about. Very mood/atmosphere driven so everything you can do to enhance immersion def makes hella difference bro

But it can also be that its just not for you lol i dont recall everybodies taste on here perfectly so i wouldn't know for sure

Imma give it another shot, prolly need to be in a relaxed mood to really take it in
