A good amount of elite prospects don't even pan out to be elite in the Majors either. Of course you don't want to be the guy who traded away young Hanley Ramirez to the Marlins but more often than not you're trading away a Lewis Brinson or Matt LaPorta (or Jared Kelenic at the rate he's going).
